The following information is provided on the requirements that copper high-voltage cables need to meet:
Round aluminum rod: It is required to check the degree of roundness, whether there are defects such as folds, misalignment, cracks, inclusions, kinks, and serious mechanical damage spots, pits, peeling, flash, corrosion spots, etc. Round copper wire: Check whether the surface is smooth and clean, and whether there are any triangular edges, burrs, cracks, folds, inclusions, serious scars, pits, mechanical damage, corrosion spots, etc. It is worth mentioning that there is also the degree of oxidation of copper wire. Generally, golden yellow is normal, light red is slight oxidation, and the surface is dark red or blue is severe oxidation. Any situation where severe oxidation occurs should be considered as waste treatment. During the manufacturing process, there are many problems with aluminum wires, and strict control should be exercised when making overhead transmission lines. Aluminum wire surface: The wires should be tightly and neatly twisted, without looseness, single wire kinks, single wire jumps or protrusions, and single wire fractures. In addition, the welding joint of a single line should be rounded and anti-corrosion treatment is required for welding. The majority of the joint should generally not exceed twice the diameter tolerance. The distance between the two welding joints of a single line should also meet the standard. The distance between the two welding joints of the same single line should not be less than 15 meters, and the distance between the inner layer and the outer layer of two welding joints of a non same single line on the same layer should not be less than 5 meters. When the copper core is a single copper wire, welding is not allowed. For more EV HV Cable and electric vehicle High-Voltage cable, please visit OMG official website: https://www.omgevcable.com |
