Why do we need to add powder when producing cables? Not only does talc absorb moisture, it also acts as a release agent and lubricant. For example, in the cable industry, talc separates cable sheathing from the cable core.
Detailed description: Use talcum powder during exercise to reduce friction. When used on cables, it can also reduce the friction between the cable sheath and the cable core and extend the service life of the cable core. The reason why talc powder can play such a role is that the talc powder particles can slide under the cable sheath and the particles can rub longitudinally between each other. During the production process, the insulating plastic and cable sheathing materials must be properly separated. First, the core wires are twisted together, then the liquid plastic of the cable jacket is poured around the core wires. Without talc, the heat generated by the cable jacket would soften the surface of the insulation, causing the insulation to stick to the cable jacket. This results in a shortened cable life and is also a poor disposal solution. The presence of talc also makes stripping the cable smoother, as the outer sheath can be quickly stripped off after circumcision.
