Detail:
The insulation material of automotive cable accessories generally uses polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which has good insulation properties and wear resistance. XLPE, the main high-voltage line in automobiles, can be called: cross-linked polyethylene, which has the following advantages: Heat resistance: XLPE with a network-like three-dimensional structure has excellent heat resistance. Insulation performance: XLPE maintains the original good insulation performance of PE, and the insulation resistance is further improved. Mechanical properties: Due to the establishment of new chemical bonds between macromolecules, the hardness, stiffness, wear resistance and impact resistance of XLPE are improved, thus making up for the shortcomings of PE that are prone to cracking due to environmental stress. Compared with TPER, it is not soft enough, and the larger square shape (about 70mm2) is more difficult to pick up first; it requires irradiation and cross-linking, and the process is long, which is inconvenient for areas without accelerators; Of course, the standards applied in different fields are different: High-voltage line application standards: ISO 6722, QC/T 1073, CQC 1122, /DECRAK179.
